A friend asked me to move some data from ASA9 to SQL Server.

He has sent a db file and no log. He can't get back to the computer to find the log file for a couple of weeks, and needs the data sooner.

Is there anyway to start the db without the log file ?

You can take any other log from ASA.
1. Rename it to the name of the DB
2. Run ASA central an take remove Log. So now you can Start the server.
